Custom Kitchen Design for Cotswold Bank House
A recent partnership with London Antiques specialist Robert Young brings sourced antiques to perfectly complement the detailing of our Spitalfields cupboards. A kitchen combining new with old while drawing the eye through window openings to the foliage outside. Painted in a soft leafy green, our Hanbury doors are accented with Antique Brass knobs, Oak drawers detailed with a quirk, and Brass drop handles. Bespoke cupboards and pan drawers provide storage for all flatware, pots, and pans keeping cooking utensils to hand for the Aga range, sitting politely under honed marble worktops.
An 18th Century Cotswold Stone house set within immaculate stretches of lawn, surrounded by clipped yew hedges allowing occasional glimpses of rolling countryside. Structural changes to the kitchen involved the removal of a central post, immediately opening the room. Seeking to utilise the natural light and free up central space for furniture, the cupboards were positioned on external walls with the double porcelain sink centered on a window, hand-painted paneling behind to complete. A generous fridge integrated within the tall cupboards alongside a wide double larder, ready for dry goods storage and baskets of home-grown vegetables.
An English room with a view and a genuine labour of love, the kitchen garden now provides cut flowers and garden produce for the family year-round.
