Cornish Cliff House

A coastal house, tucked into the Cornish cliffs celebrates light, simplicity and the contrasts of the sky. Cladding, here used horizontally, resonates with nautical references and plays off the ‘nearly black’ cupboards dressed with brass pulls.

Wall cupboards, glazed, reflect and redirect the light surrounding the white Cararra marble worktops. And ceiling height clerestory windows add extra light, especially on long summer evenings, while tall cupboards surround, giving both added storage and the dramatic balance of form and scale.
