Bathroom
A room containing a bath or shower and usually a washbasin and lavatory, we also provide custom millwork designed for bathrooms. Luxury bathroom renovations in the Bay Area can include Plain English vanities and handpainted cabinets as well as our bespoke glazed screens and doors that create separation while allowing light to come through.
Home Office & Library
Often places of work or study, home offices, and libraries frequently require an open workspace and storage in the form of shelves and cupboards. Our custom designs for these rooms consider discrete working areas suited for today’s open-plan living spaces; whether through glazed screens, bookshelves, or desk drawers.
Bar & Wine Room
Custom cabinetry and built-ins are well suited to meet the requirements of entertaining and hospitality for a home bar or wine room. Projects to date include a wide range of concepts – from a coffee/breakfast or cocktail bar adjacent to the kitchen or dining room; to a completely independent wine room, with wine refrigeration and an ice maker.
Dressing Room & Wardrobe
Wardrobes and dressing rooms are apt for a high level of detail and customization. For closet designs in San Francisco and the Bay Area, our expert team methodically approaches the interiors of all of our cupboards down to the millimeter. Upper cupboards, steel ladder rails, cedar lined drawers are just a few of the many bespoke considerations. Laundry Room
In our projects, laundry or utility rooms can be simple – with open shelves and housings for appliances – or they can be more developed, with bespoke areas for ironing and pressing, closed cupboard storage and integrations, and beautiful accessories like painted overhead drying racks.
Mudrooms
A useful vestibule or other area in a house, a mudroom is frequently located at an entrance, in which wet and muddy clothes or footwear are removed. A custom mudroom design is a popular space to continue the Plain English visual language in a project, often in a simpler iteration.
